Marni Village

Situated 100 metres from the scenic Koutouloufari village, Marni is a luxurious village-style complex overlooking the Hersonissos bay. It has 2 swimming pools, a floodlit tennis court and a sauna.

Marni Village consists of traditional stone-built apartments, studios and suites with furnished balcony or veranda. They all include a kitchenette, a seating area and a satellite TV. Some units also include a private pool.

The pools are surrounded by spacious stone-paved sun terraces offering panoramic views over the bay. 2 separate pools for the children are also available.

A la carte breakfast is served daily at the main pool bar’s area. There are 2 more bars serving Cretan and international dishes, local wine and refreshing cocktails.

Marni Village is 1 km away from the busy town of Hersonissos with its variety of bars, restaurants and cafes. The traditional villages of Piskopiano and Old Hersonissos are located within walking distance.

Marni Village wishes to combine, on one side, a timeless, calming, nature environment overlooking the gathering crowd in the busy area of Hersonissos and the whole Hersonissos bay, as well as a right location, at a walking distance from the other two traditional Cretan villages (Piskopiano and Old Hersonissos) and on the other side the entertaining town of Hersonissos with its exciting nightlife, plenty sandy beaches and the old harbour (just about 1 Km away).

Marni Village wishes to offer a different vacation offering, unlike the traditional hotel building style (with one big main building) at a very value-for-money price.

The property offers studios, apartments, maisonettes, suites and villas sleeping up to 8 people. All accommodation has a white, simple, traditional style. The maisonettes have a traditional home style with two split levels, a wooden floor and bedroom upstairs.

All rooms have a furnished balcony or terrace offering either a splendid sea view and/or pool view and/or garden view and/or mountain view. Baby cots are available upon request (charged on-site). All rooms are equipped with smoke detectors.

Breakfast is served at all times from 9:00 to 21:00 at the main pool bar area (a la carte). Continental 3€/person , Full English 5€/person. The main pool bar area serves a variety of other snacks, plates, local specialties and more (a la carte). Local and international drinks, as well as cool cocktails are served from both bars.

Within walking distance (in Koutouloufari), one can find mini-markets, traditional greek tavernas, coffee shops (cafeterias), cosy bars, stone houses and narrow streets, gift shops. Down the road for about 800m one can find the main street of Hersonissos area, where one can enjoy wild nightlife (and day-life), water parks, plenty of sandy beaches, several shops, restaurants, international cuisines, supermarkets, taverns, bars, clubs, etc.

After picking up your car from Heraklion International Airport, get on the national highway E95 opposite from the airport and follow the signs to Agios Nikolaos. Drive for 25 km with caution, pass the first exit to Hersonissos and enter the second exit to Hersonissos-Stalis. Make a left at the junction where you reach the beach road towards Hersonissos, drive 2 km and make a left to the road, right after Select Supermarket which you find on your left side. Follow that road just for 50m and take the first turn on the left. At the end of the road turn right and you will find Marni Village on your left after 100m. Have a safe journey!

Taxi Information - Airport
There are plenty of taxis waiting outside the airport day and night and the charge is approximately 30 euro per taxi to drive you here; you may arrange the price before getting in, in case the taxi driver doesn't know where exactly Marni is in Koutouloufari don't hesitate to ask him to call us and the receptionist will tell him the best way to find us. Note that the taxi can drive you as far as the entrance of the reception, not just outside the hotel; in order to do that you have to ask the driver to entry the hotel area and follow our private road so you avoid carrying the cases up the hill.

In case you are driving from the sea port, you can follow the road straight just opposite the port exit, and follow the sign for the National Road. You find the way towards Agios Nikolaos and then you follow the above instructions. In case you do not have a car, you can get a public bus from the bus station which is around 500m on the right as you exit the port and go off to the second stop in Hersonissos (Belvedere stop). Ask in the bus and they will tell you. From there you can take a taxi to get you to Marni Village (5Euro). Have a safe journey!
