Area information
Faliraki is situated on the north-eastern coast of Rhodes. Known for having the largest beach on the island, it is also one of the largest organized beach resorts in Greece. The main beach stretches approximately 4 km and hosts a number of water sport activities. Faliraki has also been rewarded with the “blue flag” environmental award by the EU for their clean beaches. Faliraki is also very famous for its night life. The Faliraki Bar Street offers a large diversity of bars and clubs to choose from. Spend your day relaxing on the beach and lose yourself in the city’s vibrant night life.
Faliraki is only 10 km from the island’s airport. You are also very close to Rhodes town and Lindos. Rhodes town is about a 15 minute drive away and hosts a beautiful old town, which is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. Lindos is about a 30 minutes drive and hosts a number of archeological wonders dating back to the ancient ages.
