Wismar is one of the key attractions of Mecklenburg’s Baltic Sea coastline. At the heart of the historical city centre is the 4-star Steigenberger Hotel Stadt Hamburg, offering picturesque views of a spirited past: explore the old town, a protected historical monument as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, and the busy harbour of this ancient Hanseatic port. Not far distant and no less worth visiting: the Nicolai Church with its impressive nave, one of the highest in Germany. And with only 70 km to Rostock’s Laage Airport, Wismar is also a convenient location.
