This beautiful villa built in 1909 is situated in a peaceful access road and is home to the Wellnesshotel Jagdhaus. Our hotel is waiting to spoil you with its wellness area including sauna, massages and a variety of treatments.

The majority of our guest rooms offer a view of our 1000 m² garden, where you can enjoy barbecues in the summer. The hotel offers 9 double rooms – renovated in a style true to the original building – and 2 holiday apartments on the top floor.

Parking spaces are available outside and behind the building.

The wellness hotel Jagdhaus is a beautiful villa, built in 1909 and located in a quiet area. It offers various treatments, including sauna and massages.

Most rooms have a view of the large garden (1,000 square metres in size). During the summer months, you can use it to have a barbecue. The hotel offers 9 originally renovated rooms and 2 apartments on the top floor. You can use the wireless LAN internet access, free of charge. There are also parking places directly in front of the hotel.

Sauna and solarium are in the same building and available for a fee (sauna EUR 3 for hotel guests (minimum of 4 people, otherwise EUR 12).
On request and based on availability you can book a room on the ground floor with parquet floor. Please indicate at time of booking.

A sufficient breakfast buffet is included in the rate. The breakfast hours can be flexibly arranged so that our business travellers may also take their breakfast earlier.

The hotel is located close to the city centre of Wernigerode (approx. 5 to 10 walking minutes). In direct proximity you will find various small restaurants and taverns which make half-board unnecessary.

Enjoy the beautiful old town of Wernigerode with its traditional half-timbered houses and its hospitable people. Wernigerode is hence considered to be the “coloured city” in the Harz region.

Arrival by car:
Freeway B6n exit Wernigerode Nord. Leave the freeway to your right towards Hasseroeder Brewery. Turn left direction Schierke. Pass the Shell gas station and the hospital (red brick building). At the large intersection Westertor (cross the train rails) turn right towards direction Schierke. Shortly before the supermarket turn right into Brueckengasse and cross the small bridge. Turn left into Luettgenfeldstrasse, right into Schillerstrasse, and right again into Strasse Unterm Ratskopf.

After approx. 150 metres you will find the yellow building which houses Hotel Jagdhaus.
