You will be fascinated by the second new bridge to Rügen, which you can clearly see from the hotel. On fine days you can even see the island of Hiddensee and its main landmark, the Dornbusch lighthouse, 28 km away in the distance.

The Ozeaneum maritime museum is currently being built near the hotel, and will provide yet another fine reason to stay here.

Part of the hotel is the Hiddenseer Hafenkneipe, which is a typical and historical harbour inn. This interesting clinker brick construction was erected in 1889, and seats up to 50 guests. On fine days you can enjoy the marvellous harbour atmosphere and the view across to the island of Rügen.

Stralsund is directly located at the Strelasund, the inward flow of the Baltic Sea. Here you can not only have a bathing holiday, but you may also explore the beautiful surrounding. The islands Ruegen and Hiddensee, as well as Fischland-Darß-Zingst, the largest peninsula of Germany, are easy to reach within a short time.
In Stralsund you have various leisure possibilities, such as the Hanse-Dom with a large water and sauna world.

Arriving in Stralsund, coming from the motorway A20, go further on the Ruegen loader towards "Rügendammbrücke", pass the shipbuilding hall of the Volkswerft. At the next crossing turn left towards Nordhafen / Altstadthafen. Go straight on, pass the buildings of the refrigeration centres, of the "Getreide AG" and the harbour / storing company. At the red house of the fitness centre follow the signs rightwards to "Alte Lotsenwache / Hafenkapitän", which leads you over the bascule bridge. After a few metres you will reach our hotel.
