Stralsund is located at the gateway to Western Pomerania's island world. Thanks to the new B96a ringroad which was opened in 2003, the flow of traffic to the Island of Rügen must no longer crawl through the narrow streets of the town centre. Vistors can drive staight onto the Peninsula of Fischland/Darß on the B105 and the B96 leads to the Island of Usedom via the Hanseatic Town of Greifswald. From Stralsund Harbour, the White Fleet Ferries take passengers to the idyllic Isle of Hiddensee, Rügen's little sister, where no cars are allowed.

By car:
- Take the A20 towards the centre and follow the white sign to the new market.

Hotel guests enjoy free admission to these parties.

On these weekends, the restaurant is closed on Saturday and Sunday and the entrance to the underground garage is closed between 19:00 on Saturday and 07:00 on Sunday. Guests can leave their cars in the underground car park but cannot drive in or out during the above times.
