Our walls can tell lots of exciting stories! In times of war, the former boarding school was used to shelter children from the neighbouring towns which were being bombed. Our old timbered house has been renovated and modernised, but has still managed to preserve its authenticity and tradition.

All 16 rooms are furnished comfortably and provide either a bath or shower.

We offer regional and international snacks and light bites, and serve drinks in the hotel bar.

We also offer half-board accommodation.

The Harz region is a low mountain range with forests, moors and romantic rivers in the North German lowlands. In the southern region of the Harz you will find the romantic little timbered town of Stolberg. This picturesque and historical town is also known as the "Pearl of South Harz".

Stolberg was the first and only town to receive the title "Historical European City". You can find some of the oldest timbered buildings here, where the Middle Ages seem to still be alive!
