Whether you stay in one of the comfortably furnished rooms of our main building, in our guesthouse by the lake, or in our freshly renovated "Alten Schmiede" ("The Old Blacksmiths'), you are sure to feel at ease.

All rooms are equipped with bath or shower and WC, cable TV and telephone.
Almost all rooms feature a balcony or terrace.

Our comprehensive breakfast buffet is sure to get your day off to a good start.

In the evenings we will spoil you with culinary delights in our restaurant. Amid traditional décor we serve a wide variety of dishes including Bavarian Schmankerl. In the summer you may also dine in our garden, beneath mighty linden trees.

Please note that the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.
We offer a light à la carte menu for hotel guests from 18:00 - 19:30.

Hammer is situated amid the triangle Siegsdorf - Inzell - Ruhpolding.
We are definitely your ideal starting point for several trips in the Chiemgau Region, the Berchtesgadener Land and near Salzburg.

Arriving from the North:
- Head towards Munich
- Change to the A8 and head towards Salzburg
- Once you have passed lake Chiemsee, take the exit Traunstein-Inzell (no. 112) and follow the signposts to Inzell
- 6 km from the motorway, you find the town of Hammer. Our guesthouse lies to the left, somewhat set back from the road

Arriving from the South:
- Arriving from Salzburg, cross the border towards Bavaria and stay on the A8 towards Munich
- Leave the motorway at the exit Traunstein-Siegsdorf (no. 112)
- To continue, please follow the above instructions

Arriving via public transport:
- Travel to Traunstein railway station and then take the RVO bus route 9526 towards Traunstein-Inzell-Bad Reichenhall (get out at the bus stop Hammer-Kirche)
