The hotel offers attractively furnished, south-facing rooms. They all include a balcony or terrace which provide wonderful views of the Karwendel mountain range. Free WLAN is available throughout the hotel.

Please note that the hotel does not have any rooms for smokers.

The rich, wholesome breakfast is included in your reservation. It is served from 08:00 until 10:00 every day. Upon request, you can also enjoy your food outside these hours.

The hotel also features the intimate “Brotzeitstation”, a rustic bar where you can savour tasty snacks, cakes and delicious beers from Munich’s Hofbräu brewery.

The “Brotzeitstation” is open from 11:30 until 16:30 from Fridays to Tuesdays. It is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Bäckeralm enjoys a peaceful location above lake Schmalensee and striking views of the Karwendel mountain range.

The centre of Mittenwald is only approximately 2.5 km away. It can also be easily reached by public transport. The bus stops directly outside the property.

The Zugspitze and Karwendel mountain regions offer ideal conditions for winter sports, hiking and mountain biking. The popular spa town and leisure destination of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is always worth a visit.
