Upon request, we can pick you up from the small train stop at Frahelsbrück free of charge. Please arrange transport before you begin your journey by calling the hotel directly.

At reception you can send a fax. There is a small central safe at the reception where you can store your valuables. On every floor, you will find a shoe polishing machine.

Upon arrival, your minibar is filled with drinks. On request, the hotel can empty this for you so you can use the refrigerator for your own beverages, food, or medicines.

Your television is equipped with a satellite decoder which gives access to several hundred international channels.

From 08:00 until 10:00, a complimentary breakfast buffet is available in the restaurant.

A different 3-course meal is available every evening from 17:30 to 20:30, with a choice of main course. Guests can make reservations for the evening meal at the breakfast table.

Drinks and light snacks are available all day. You can also order a packed lunch.

Upon request and subject to 24 hours' notice, special meals can be prepared for vegetarians and for those with medical needs. There is a full range of drinks suitable for guests with dietary needs.

Discover the beautiful Bavarian Forest! The surroundings offer endless possibilities for a wonderful holiday, right in the heart of nature. Approximately 50 walking routes can be easily combined, shortened or extended and the area is very suitable for motorcycle and bicyle tours.

We are blessed with three well equipped ski areas within a 15 minute drive from the hotel, suitable for all levels.

Lam is situated on the Glasstrasse, a route with many glassworks. The famous Bohemian glass and crystal is mainly manufactured in this region. Also, beautiful cities in the area, such as Regensburg, Straubing, Passau, Pilsen and (on a long daytrip) even Prague and Munich merit a visit.

Lam is only an inviting 6 km from the Czech border. Exellent for exploring this country too! During a border walk on the Grosser Osser, you have an excellent view of both the Bavarian and the Bohemian Forest.

By Car:
- Take the A3 motorway and exit number 106 (Cham-Mitterfels) for Bad Kötzting.
- In Bad Kötzting, continue for Lam (1.5 km).
- Before Lam turn left for Osserbad/Frahels.
- After the bridge turn left again at the roundabout.
- Continue through Frahelsbrück up the slope to Frahels and at the top of the slope you will find our parking on your right hand side.

By Train:
- Take the Oberpfalzbahn from Cham or Bad Kötzting to Lam.
- Get off at penultimate stop, Frahelsbrück. This is a stop at request, please do not forget to press the button.
- We will be waiting to pick you up if you let us know your arrival time before you begin your journey.

Please call the hotel in advance if you plan to arrive after 22:30.

The restaurant is closed and reception service is limited on Tuesdays. If you arrive on a Tuesday, please notify of your arrival time in advance.
