The Bayerwald is an officially recognised Schroth cure hotel. The Schroth cure was devised in the 19th century as a method of detoxification based on regulating diet.

Plan the days adventures while enjoying the rich and healthy breakfast available in the non-smoking breakfast room between 07:30 and 11:00.

Lunch is served in the restaurant or on the terrace between 12:00 and 14:00 each day.

In the evening, à la carte dining is available as well as a 4-course meal for half-board guests. Between 18:00 and 20:30 you can take your pick from soup, starters, a salad buffet, 6 or 7 different main courses, and a variety of desserts.

Please note that the restaurant is closed from 14:00 on Sundays.

Active holidaymakers will enjoy discovering the unique scenery surrounding Mount Osser while hiking, Nordic walking, horse riding, playing golf or mountain biking.

During the winter, you can also go skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing in the surrounding area.
