The hotel offers nine rooms and two luxury suites in British style. Petra and Fritz Lay created this hotel after their return from England in the distinguished suburb Harvestehude. The villa was built in 1881, was beautifully restored and offers the charm of a private house of the turn of the century.

The delightful, beautiful Patrician villa was bought by Petra and Fritz Lay in 1978 and then had been transformed into a hotel. In 1989, the restaurant "Prinz Frederik" opened its doors to the public and has become one of the gourmet hot spots in town.

Room information

Mr and Mrs. Lay were inspired during their long-term stays in England and France to create a "home away from home". For this reason, all rooms are arranged individually and offer peace, luxury, and an immediate "comfort feeling".

Enjoy an aperitif at the fireplace in the red salon before getting spoiled with royal menus at our restaurant "Prince Frederik".
Our restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.
