Area information

With its numerous romantic nooks and alleys, the old town of Gemünden nestles on a ledge overlooking the palace of the Baron of Salis. The area surrounding this, the "jewel of the Hunsrück region", offers blooming meadows, shady forests, and hills and valleys which are waiting to be explored.

We would be happy to organise horse-drawn coach rides, wine-tasting sessions, visits to the Kellenbach pottery store or hikes (including food).
