In Behringen you can rent bicycles, or at the beautiful lake Brunausee you can go for walks, go swimming, angling, take a ride in a peddle boat, or discover the heathlands by taking a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Due to the hotel's direct transport links to the nature conservation area, you have the opportunity to go hiking, riding and cycling either on the Behring heathlands, at Wilseder Berg, in Wilsede or at Totengrund.

The cities of Hamburg, Hanover, Bremen, Lüneburg and Celle can be reached conveniently by car in less than an hour. Bus and train connections are also available. In Behringen and in the local area, there are a variety of pubs and restaurants, which are waiting to spoil you with regional specialities.
