The hostel has been especially designed to give you a taste of how life really was under the former communist East German regime. Situated in the hip Friedrichshain district, it offers a unique insight due to its original East German accessories and furniture. It also boasts an attractive garden with seating, which is particularly popular in the summertime when barbecues are held each Saturday.

Com arribar-hi

By Train (from Berlin train station):
- Take the S-Bahn towards the east until you get to the east train station (Ostbahnhof)
- Exit the train station towards Erich-Steinfurth-Strasse / Strasse der Pariser Kommune.
- You will see a shop on the right and a building with 6 floors on the left.
- Go around this building to find entrance number 5; this is the hostel.
