The stylish Apartments Checkpoint Charlie are 65 m² in size and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. They offer all modern amenities such as wireless internet access, CD players and DVD players. An additional bed or baby cot can be supplied on request.

Several bus stops and the Kochstraße and Stadtmitte underground stops are just a 5-minute stroll away. The wide range of eateries, shops, and nightlife venues in the area offer something for everybody.

The apartment is situated in a new building (built in 2001) which was designed by Nalbach & Nalbach Architects, a well-known architect couple from Berlin.

The building's attractive façade boasts large windows, an impressive entrance and a stylish staircase.

For your convenience, you will also find a shared washing machine and tumble dryer on the premises.

Please note that smoking is not allowed in the apartments. However, you can smoke on the spacious balcony.

The living room includes a comfortable sofa bed (155x200 cm), wardrobe, 2 cosy chairs, a cable TV with a 55-cm screen, a CD player (also suitable for MP3s), and a DVD player (also suitable for DivX). You will also find a dining area for 4-5 people with a sideboard.

The bedroom provides one comfortable queen-size bed (180x200 cm), bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a radio clock.

The comprehensively equipped kitchen offers everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Welcome extras include a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, and coffee machine.

The bright, newly tiled bathroom (approximately 6.5 m² in size) offers a granite vanity table with a large mirror. Look forward to a generous bathtub with an attractive glass shower screen, as well as a designer WC.

Please note that these apartments are entirely self-catering.

The Swabian restaurant Maultäschle in the neighbouring building serves tasty specialities including homemade Maultaschen (the German version of ravioli) and select Baden wines.

Just around the corner, the renowned restaurant Entrecôte will treat you to exquisite French cuisine.

This part of Berlin's Mitte district features buildings by well-known architects including Aldo Rossi, Peter Eisenman and Philipp Johnson.

The neighbourhood was partially intersected by the Berlin Wall,whose traces are barely visible today.

The main points of interest are Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall Museum and the shopping street Friedrichstraße around the corner.

The famous Potsdamer Platz square, Martin-Gropius-Bau building and Topography of Terror exhibition are about 20 minutes away on foot.

The renowned boulevard Unter den Linden boulevard and symbolic Brandenburg Gate are just a short stroll to the north.

Discover the area’s elegant boutiques, department stores and restaurants. You will also find several supermarkets and a medical centre nearby.

The underground network in Berlin’s district of Mitte is particularly dense. You can quickly reach all major attractions across the capital.

You can collect your apartment keys from 11:00 on the day of arrival if you need to drop off your luggage. However, there is no guarantee that the apartments will be fully cleaned and prepared until 16:00 (in most cases, the apartments are ready earlier than this).

Please note that the individual apartments do not have a reception. There is a penalty of EUR 20 for arrivals later than 22:00.
