Experience the beautiful scenery of Waldhessen and its surroundings by bike or foot. Nature enthusiasts can explore Rhön nature park or the stunning Thuringian Forest. Other sights, including the famous Wartburg in Eisenach, the Erlebnis-Bergwerk (mine) Merkers and the historic frame-work cities of Rotenburg or Melsungen, can be easily reached by car.
