All rooms are en suite and most of them have a south side balcony. They have been completely renovated and are equipped with new furniture.

The restaurant offers a wonderful view of the marketplace and a wide range of regional and international cuisine. The Weinstube provides seating for smokers and non-smokers and is ideal for a cosy get-together.

Bad Grund has plenty to offer, such as the Iberg stalactite caves, the clock and mining museum, the "fairytale valley", the Arboretum forest, mini-golf, a spa centre with saltwater pool and radon galleries to treat people with asthma and allergies.

From north and south:
- Take the A7 and exit at Seesen.
- Then drive onto the B243 towards Osterode.
- Turn right onto the B242 towards Clausthal/ Braunlage.
- You will reach Bad Grund after 4 km.
