Our hotel provides modern rooms which are quietly situated towards the back of the building. All rooms feature orthopaedic mattresses, high quality furniture from the Austrian firm "Voglauer", TV, bath/shower and WC. Some of our rooms are also fitted with a bidet.

Area information
Bad Grund is a state-recognised moor spa town and is located on the western outskirts of the Upper Harz region, in a valley which opens out to the South. It is the oldest of seven mountain towns in the Upper Harz; the small town centre features numerous attractive timber-framed houses and is surrounded by meadows, foilage and coniferous woodland.
Numerous cultural events and evening entertainments are organised by the spa authorities, and a variety of sports activities are on offer in the town. Worthwhile excursions further into the surrounding area of the Upper Harz include the mining and national heritage museum in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, the picturesque old town of Osterode, Pipinsburg and the 3-kilometre long lake Sösestausee.
