Alzey, “the secret capital of Rheinhessen”, is located between the cities of Mainz and Worms, right near the A61 and A63 motorways.

The surrounding vineyards offer wine-tasting sessions where you can try refined wines from the Rhine region.

Travel information

If you are travelling from Cologne, Frankfurt and Mainz, exit the A 61 motorway at Alzey (exit number 5). At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of the “Gewerbegebiet” (industrial estate). Turn right into the industrial estate and continue until you reach the next roundabout. Take the 1st exit on the right and follow the main road uphill. When you reach the end of the route, turn left and then turn right.

If you are travelling from Ludwigshafen/Mannheim, exit the A61 motorway at Alzey (exit number 5). At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit on the right. Drive into the industrial area and continue until the next roundabout. Take the 1st exit on the right and follow the main road uphill. When you reach the end of the route, turn left and then turn right.
