This lovingly family-run guesthouse with riding stables is situated in the beautiful region of Upper Harz at the edge of a forest and on the slopes of the pretty Bodetal Valley with its incredible Rappbode dam system.

As well as the riding facilities, the hotel also provides its own tent and camping area, and we offer apartments suitable for families for longer stays. Come and enjoy the delicious regional cuisine in our restaurant with its large barbecue area and relax in the beautiful surroundings.

Horse riding fans can take our beautiful horses out for a ride with or without a guide, and can also book riding lessons. The hotel offers day trips and horse riding tours lasting several days including catering. We also provide holidays for children at the riding stables, lasting 6 days. Children will enjoy the on-site petting zoo, where they can get right up close to our goats, horses and ostriches.

Sporty guests can take advantage of our volleyball court and football pitch and it is possible to book carriage rides and sledging at the hotel.

The comfortable hotel restaurant serves typically regional dishes and provides seating for 50 diners. There is also a larger hall with capacity for 140 guests and a barbecue area with space for 200 people perfect for celebrations on warm summer evenings.

Explore nearby Thale with its witches dance floor and cable car, Rübeland with its fascinating caves or the quaint area of Wernigerode. The interesting towns of Schierke and Brocken are also easily reached from the hotel.
