Take it easy and relax in the hotel spa area. Have an exciting round of bowls in the bowling alley, or linger in the spacious garden with sun-loungers, outdoor chess and table-tennis.

Go horse riding in the stables, which have around 40 horses as well as10 ponies specially for children. Upon permission from the stable manageress, you may even bring your own horse.

The rooms have a friendly feel and are traditionally and nicely furnished. The rooms feature a balcony.

Food & beverage

The hotel restaurant serves up top-quality products originating from local suppliers. The game comes from the own hunting lodge, lambs are from the local Welzheimer Wald forest pastures, and trout are fished from surrounding waters. Vegetables are organically farmed, and herbs are taken from the hotel garden. The classic dishes on the menu include game specialities with deer, wild boar as well as fish. The home-made Maultaschen (Swabian filled pasta) are always popular. Altogether the hotel offers fresh, regional cuisine with a certain Mediterranean flair. The wine list features select wines, mainly from Baden-Württemberg, but also from France, Italy and overseas.

Area information

The first tee of the excellent nearby 18-hole golf-course is no more than 200 metres from the hotel. There are 5 different cycling routes which begin at the hotel, and these vary from 30 km to 70 km in length. Explore the beautiful natural countryside on a walking tour, and discover the idyllic forests, meadows and lakes.
