The Eiffel Tower is only a 15 minute walk, the Invalides a 5 minute walk and the Ecole Militaire is just a few steps away. Many museums are also in the vicinity, like the Orsay Museum, the Rodin Museum and the new Quai Branly Museum with its primitive art (inaugurated in June 2006 by former president Jacques Chirac).
St Germain and Montparnasse areas are easily accessible by bus, metro and even on foot. The Rue Cler, a famous pedestrian shopping street is also just a few steps away.
