Kierikki Naturehotel & Restaurant is situated around a small lake, close to the main building of Kierikki Stone Age Centre.

Our reception and restaurant are also situated in this unique building.

Four buildings contain 16 hotel rooms and each room has a balcony facing the lake.

Four rooms are especially equipped for handicapped persons.

There are two saunas in a separate building complete with a relaxation room and fireplace.

The conference room “Meripihka” can also being used for recreation.

Kierikki Naturehotel & Restaurant is situated around a small lake, close to the main building of Kierikki Stone Age Centre. Due to the ancient wooden construction the building exudes a medieval atmosphere.

In the summer relax on the terrace facing the river Iijoki and listen to birds singing and the lapping of the waves.

Our reception and restaurant are also situated in this unique building.

Kierikki Restaurant is located in the heart of Kierikki Stone Age Centre's main building and due to the ancient wooden construction exudes a medieval atmosphere that creates a prehistoric mood. In the summer you can relax on the terrace facing the river Iijoki and listen to birds singing and to the lapping of the waves.

Area information

Kierikki Stone Age Centre is one of the world's largest log houses and an excellent example of modern log architecture.

Built in Yli-Ii along the northern banks of the river Iijoki this unique hotel and the Stone Age village are situated in the middle of an expansive Stone Age settlement area, which was inhabited as far back as 7,000 years ago.

At Kierikki's shop you can buy Stone Age style handicrafts.
