The hotel is a peaceful oasis in the wild nature of the North Sea. When the wind picks up, the sea foams and fish fly through the air, it is most pleasant to sit at the fireplace in the lounge or in our cosy atrium garden, enjoying a drink. Enjoy the view of the nature reserve and the lighthouse.

Let yourself be pampered in the hands of the hotel staff in comfortable surroundings. You can use the hotel facilities such as the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna or solarium, or if the weather permits you can play miniature golf.

All rooms are surrounded by a forest. All rooms are non-smoking, but most have access to a terrace or balcony for outdoor smoking. In most double rooms, there is also a sofa bed.

The hotel’s recognised and well-reputed kitchen offers delicious quality dishes in the restaurant, which has the most magnificent view of the protected nature reserve and the Hanstholm lighthouse.

The hotel has its own wine cellar, where you can buy wine at all price levels.

Here you are close to the roaring North Sea which from time to time shows its teeth along the sandy white beaches. If you prefer calm waters, the Limfjord, the Vandet Lake and the Nors Lake are close by. The lakes are surrounded by woods and dune plantations with maps of the many paths suitable for hikes. If you cannot get enough, Hanstholm is situated by the Hanstholm Nature Reserve with a rich wildlife. Furthermore Hanstholm is one of the few places in Denmark where you can see the sun go down twice on the same evening.

Hanstholm can also offer some historic sights from the Second World War such as the bunkers which are littered all over the countryside. Here you can also see the largest fortification in northern Europe, which today is a museum about "Atlantervolden".

By Car:
From Aarhus:
- Drive along the E45 until you reach exit number 33 at Haverslev.
- Leave the highway and continue towards Aars and thereafter towards Aggersund and Fjerritselv along main road number 29.
- At Fjerritslev you turn left and continue along main road number 29/11.
- After the forest you reach Østerild where you can turn off towards Hanstholm along main road number 29 and finally main road number 26, which ends in a roundabout.
- Exit the roundabout on the 3rd road.
- After approximately 2 km you will reach Hotel Hanstholm.

From Aalborg:
- Drive along main road number 11/55 to Aabybro.
- From Aabybro, continue in the direction of Brovst, Fjerritslev and Østerild along main road number 11.
- At Østerild you turn onto main road number 29 towards Hanstholm and finally main road number 26, which ends at a roundabout.
- Exit the roundabout on the 3rd road.
- After approximately 2 km, you will reach Hotel Hanstholm.
