The Red Lion Hotel

The Red Lion Hotel is set in a beautiful, historic building from the 15th century. It is located in Prague's historical centre and features rooms with authentic period furniture.

The first written records of the house date back to the 15th century. Well-preserved basement rooms are from the Gothic period. Renaissance style is manifested in the painted beam ceilings in the restaurant and in some rooms while the entrance portal is the result of a Baroque reconstruction of the house. Later adaptations brought new architectural elements, among which are quite outstanding the classicist ones. The last renovation preserved the historical character of the building and completed it carefully with luxury facilities of the modern way of life. The authenticity of history is emphasized also by original period furniture, specially selected for each room.

The hotel is situated in the picturesque neighbourhood of Lesser Town in the historical centre, right on the Royal Route, in close vicinity of the main entrance gate to Prague Castle. All the other impressive sights of the Golden City are easily accessible on foot and many renowned restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity.
