Opposite the State Opera, this luxurious Secession-style hotel dating from 1927 is just a 2-minute walk from Wenceslas Square and 5 minutes from Prague Main Train Station. It offers a French gourmet restaurant.

The Esplanade Prague’s air-conditioned rooms feature elegant wooden furniture and large bathrooms made from Carrara marble. Facilities include a flat-screen satellite TV and a minibar.

Fine French cuisine and traditional Czech dishes are served in the restaurant. The Esplanade Hotel also offers a bar and a café with a summer terrace. A varied buffet is served in the elegant breakfast room every morning.

All of our 74 newly renovated guest rooms and suites pay tribute to the historical atmosphere of the hotel yet fulfilling all the individual needs and expectations of our demanding guests.

Each room is fully air-conditioned and equipped with classic furniture of precious wood, which was made especially for our hotel. The spacious bathrooms are made of Italian Carrara marble.

Café
The marble and wood interior dates back to 1927. This cafe, which is the heart of the hotel, has always been the place to meet people of cultural and political significance. The quiet and inviting atmosphere is enhanced by the tunes of the roaring twenties.
During the summer months the terrace is open.

French restaurant
The chandelier made of Italian Murano glass dominates this great room. The restaurant offers a quiet ambience, where you can enjoy a rich breakfast as well as lunches and dinners with delicious regionally influenced French and Italian cuisine.
Open daily from 06:30 to 10:00 and from 12:00 to 22:00.

The Est bar is the right place to meet friends, business associates or just to relax. Its elegant wood panelling gives it a cosy atmosphere. The Est bar is situated on the first floor and resembles a real English clubs of past times. It is a quiet place, ideally suited to end your day over a fine drink. The bar offers a variety of drinks, cigars as well as light snacks.

Hotel is situated in very quite area but very close to the centre.
The National museum and the State Opera are located in front of the hotel.
Underground station: 0.2 km.
Highway: 0,3 km (but no noise !)
Ideal location for shopping and a walk in the park.

By bus from the airport:
- Take bus number 119 to Dejvická station.
- Change to underground line A (green line) and travel 5 stations to Muzeum station.
- Then walk 200 metres towards the train station. The hotel is located in front of the State Opera House.
