The town of Hluboká nad Vltavou is famous for its beautiful castle built in Tudor style, which is nicely lit at night. Its interiors are equipped with beautiful historic furniture, unique carved wooden pieces, many pictures, precious Gobelin tapestries and collections of glass and porcelain. The castle is surrounded by a large English-style park featuring rare trees. Various vantage points in the park provide a nice view of České Budějovice, the Novohradské Mountains and the Šumava Mountains.
