Thanks to its skilful use of the local natural resources, especially the mineral waters and nearby peat deposits, Franzensbad has become a world-famous spa for treating female disorders, cardiovascular disease and problems with motor functions. The hotel offers a range of procedures such as carbonic baths, therapeutic exercises in the pool, mud packs, a variety of massages, electro-therapy using magnets and ultrasound, oxygen therapy, vitamin and gas injections as well as the traditional drinking cure with the hotel’s own spring water. All treatments are under the supervision of well-skilled physicians.
