In the hotel's charming building first mentioned in 1539 no room resembles the other. Each is elegantly furnished and nicely decorated, some displaying original wooden beams. Every room is fully en-suite and features a satellite TV and some offer wireless internet access.

Area information

Construction of the town and castle began in the late 13th century at a ford in the Vltava River. Most of the architecture dates from the 14th to the 17th century, displaying Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. The core of the Old Town lies within a horseshoe bend of the river, with the old Latrán neighbourhood and the castle situated on the other side of the Vltava river.

The Castle of Český Krumlov ranks among the most important historic sights in the central European region. In 1992 the entire complex was included in the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage Monuments.

Wander through the Sumava National Park and visit the historical towns of southern Bohemia (e.g. Hluboka nad Vltavou, Rozumberk nad Vltavou,Ceske Budejovice), explore the surroundings by bike or mountain bike, or have a relaxed trip by canoe down the Vltava.
