The Vasilias Nikoklis Inn was named after the King Nikoklis (Vasilias is the Greek word for king). Tradition says that King Nikoklis had his palace in the village of Nikoklia.

The Inn has a long history since, in the old times, it was used as an inn, accommodating travellers and merchants going towards Paphos. At the end of the 80's, the owners, Tasos and Dora Konstantinou, renovated part of the building as a tavern. Starting with a small chamber and with great persistence and taste, despite the difficulties they met on the course, they expanded the tavern. They shaped the external spaces and built rooms with respect to the traditional architecture.

Vasilias Nikoklis Inn has 8 rooms, some of which have a balcony. During the winter all rooms enjoy the warmth of a central heating system. During the summer air conditioning is available in rooms upon request and for an additional charge.

You can enjoy traditional Cypriot cuisine in the hotel's stone built tavern.

By trying the side dishes, the nicely cooked starters, as well as a wealth of main dishes, you will discover one of the reasons that people from all the parts of the world choose to come back to this hotel.

You can accompany your meal with local wine (red or white) or with zivania, which the hotel procures from a well known winery at the nearby village of Pretori.

The hotel is situated right outside Nikoklia, a small village 17 km after Paphos, and 43 km before Limassol. It is also only 7 km away from 2 Championship Golf Courses: Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills.

By car:

From Larnaca Airport, Limassol or Nicosia:
- Take the A6 motorway.
- Go towards Paphos.
- Once in the Paphos District, exit at Kouklia - Archimandrita.
- Join the Β6 motorway.
- Follow in the direction of Paphos.
- Follow for about 3 km when you will find, on your left, the road to Nikoklia and Troodos.
- Following this road, pass the village of Nikoklia.
- After 1 km you will find Vasilias Nikoklis.

From the airport of Paphos:
- Get on the old motorway between Limassol and Paphos, the Β6.
- Follow the route towards Limassol.
- After about 4 km you will find, on your left, the road to Nikoklia and Troodos.
- Following this road, pass the village of Nikoklia.
- After 1 km you will find Vasilias Nikoklis.
