Villa Mario

Situated 10 km from Split in Podstrana, Villa Mario is only a few metres from the pebble beach and features a large, summer terrace where guests can enjoy their meals.

The air-conditioned rooms provide minibars, safes and satellite TV. The balconies offer sea views.

Parasols and sun loungers are provided on the beach. The terrace is covered in greenery, which creates a cool, relaxing ambience in summer.

Villa Mario is a good starting point to visit Split with the famous antique Diocletian's Palace or go rafting on Cetina River, 12 km away.

The local bus arrives within a 25-minute ride in Split.

On the terrace of the restaurant, which can accommodate 100 guests, you can enjoy our sea specialties, barbecue specialties, spaghetti, risotto, pizza and other meals. There is also room for about 80 guests inside the restaurant.

Breakfast time: from 7.30 - 10.00 a.m.

It's situated only a few meters from the beach, so you can listen to the sounds of the sea, whilst sitting on the terrace and enjoying our specialties.

There is a beautiful beach next to the pension MARIO.

We also provide facilities near the beach where you can get refreshments and take a break throughout the whole day.

The City of Split is an ideal place for shopping and spending time in and around the historical monuments. Diocletian's palace is the place that every visitor of Split and its surroundings has to see. The town is 15 minutes from the pension "MARIO". Should you decide to take advantage of a raft ride on the Cetina river, which is only 12 km away, you'll have an unforgettable experience on your holiday.

We are on the main city bus line Split - Omis (zone 2). The bus ride from and to Split takes 20-25 minutes.

Arriving from Split downtown/Split Port or Airport:
Take the main road heading to OMIŠ - DUBROVNIK. We are located in an area called Sveti Martin - PODSTRANA.
It's about a 10 min drive from Split on the right hand side, just near the sea.

Arriving from Dubrovnik:
Take the main road heading to Split, we are about 10 km before Split.
