You can visit the Plitvice Lakes at any time of year because each season offers a new and distinct view of their unique waterfalls and rugged charm. In the winter season, you can also go skiing in the resort of Mukinje.

If cycling is your passion, there are approximately 60 km of cycle paths which will guide you through wooded and mountainous parts of Plitvice Lakes and its surroundings.

By car from Zagreb or Split:
- Take the main road D-1 (Zagreb - Karlovac - Plitvice Lakes - Gracac - Knin - Split).

From Rijeka:
- Take the main road D-42 (Rijeka - Vrbovsko - Ogulin - Saborsko).
- If you take the motorway A-1, we recommend that you exit at Ogulin, Otočac or Gospić.
