Just 6 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park, the family-owned Apartments Helena Bike&Bed include spacious kitchens and balconies overlooking the beautiful countryside.

There are numerous lakes, waterfalls, forests and mountains within a short journey from your apartment. You can hire bicycles and explore the area with a cycling map.

You can enjoy playing indoor games including billiards and table tennis. There is also a playground for children. Apartments Helena provides information about the national park, Barac's Caves and the canyon of Korana River.

After a long day, preparing regional specialities or your family using fresh ingredients will be a pleasure in your own spacious and well-equipped kitchen with dark wood floors and newly renovated facilities. Barbecue facilities are on site.

Please be informed that the Apartment for 5 persons is about 20 meters walking distance from the other apartments.

We offer our own homemade regional foods, including: cheese; ham; honey; rakija (brandy); grilled meat; barbecue or meat "under peka"; and organically grown fruit and vegetables from our own garden.

There are a huge number of outdoor activities in which to take part within the beautiful surroundings of our apartments. Plitvice Lakes are just 6 km from here and the spectacular Baracheve Caves are 7 km away. You can raft down the River Una, 15 km from us, or cycle the canyon of the River Korana. You can marvel at the waterfall in Rastoke, visit the medieval fortress of Stari Grad Old Town or see Jelov Klanac ranch within just 6 km.

Or you can simply walk in the clean and fresh mountain air whilst taking in the outstanding natural beauty of the lakes, waterfalls, rich flora and fauna, and the magic of our forests.
