The guest house „Haus am Meer“ is situated in the picturesque town of Cavtat – in the vicinity of the world-renowned Old Town of Dubrovnik. Set on a hill, it is a 10-minute walk from the center and the beaches.

Satellite TV is offered in the lounge where an assortment of multi-lingual literature can be found as well. A large terrace with sea view and sunloungers is at guests' disposal.

Each charming and modern room is individually furnished and features air conditioning. A contemporary, private bathroom with a hairdryer is also provided.

Staff organizes massages, makes restaurant reservations and arranges airport shuttles on request. Restaurants can be reached within a few steps.

Cooking facilities comprise a ceramic hob, a micro wave oven, a coffee machine, an electric water kettle and the usual cooking equipment. Satellite tv is offered in our lounge where an assortment of multi-lingual literature can be found as well.

There is a big terrace with sea view for our guests, where can they relax in the sunbeds.

Every single of our rooms has its own charm created by the carefully and individually arranged furniture. Some rooms offer seaviews, but all have either balconies or access to a terrace with sunbeds.
All rooms are non-smoking rooms and have queen-sized beds, individually controlled air-conditioning, satellite tv with a lcd flat screen, clock radio and well-equipped en-suite bathrooms with cosmetic mirror and hair-dryer.
Room cleaning is done daily, bed linen and towels are changed regularly.

Guest staying min. 14 days will receive 1 dinner free of charge.

You can reach nearly all restaurants easily from our house which mainly offer mediterrean, local meals. On request we reserve a table in a restaurant in Dubrovnik or elsewhere which can be reached by bus, taxi, rented car or even - a watertaxi-. Ask us for assistance!

When travelling by car through the heart of Europe a very charming route is Nürnberg (Germany)– Phyrn (Austria) – Maribor (Slovenia) – Karlovac (Croatia) – Split (Croatia) – Dubrovnik (Croatia) – and finally Cavtat.

Please follow the main road towards Cavtat, as you approach the town of Cavtat you will observe on your left hand side a little supermarket. Take the next turn right (appr.50m) at a dangerous bend in the road and proceed down the street Frana Laureana. Haus am Meer is on your right.
