In one of the more peaceful spots of Borovets, this renovated 4-star hotel offers a range of leisure facilities and easy access to the main ski lift station.

Nestled amid the mountains, there is plenty to keep you occupied here during your skiing holiday. Work off some excess energy in the on site indoor pool or fitness centre, or loosen those aching ski muscles with a sauna, massage, or a spell in the solarium.

Entertainment is available via the hotel's 2 restaurants, including a traditional 'Mehana' where you can combine food and drink with a Bulgarian show. Alternatively, the many fireplaces of the lobby bar make for an inviting sight after a day with the snow.

A complimentary shuttle service to and from the ski lift means you can reach the slopes with ease.

In addition to its many leisure facilities, the Lion Hotel Borovets also encompasses a 120 capacity conference hall, fully equipped for multimedia presentations.

All areas of the hotel can be accessed by disabled guests.

Each hotel room feature a TV, radio, minibar, telephone and en suite bathroom with bath tub.

Deluxe Double rooms are large enough to accommodate an extra bed, which, depending on the season, is available for either EUR 22, 32, 45 or 60 per bed, night.

The hotel features 2 restaurants where you can enjoy European cuisine as well as Bulgarian specialties. One is comprised of an elegant dining room, offering a buffet for up to 150 guests. The other is a traditional Bulgarian 'Mehana', offering up to 80 guests the chance to enjoy good cuisine, a range of drinks and a Bulgarian show.

Alternatively, after a day out on the slopes you can relax beside the fireplaces of the lobby bar, where you enjoy a drink and a game of pool.

A buffet dinner supplement is available for EUR 8 per person, per night.

Borovets is the 1st international mountain resort in Bulgaria, located 2000 metres above sea level on the Northern slopes of the Rila mountain.

Borovets is easily accessible, being only 70 km away from Sofia. It was developed into a modern high-class ski resort with luxury hotels, restaurants, entertainment spots and 50 km of ski runs providing excellent conditions for a variety of winter sports.

By air:
- The nearest airport is in Sofia (approximately 70 km).
- The transfer time from Sofia to Borovets Ski Resort is roughly an hour and a half.
- The hotel is on the eastern side of the resort.
- There will be signs in the area to direct you, alternatively you can use the shuttle service that leaves from the ski lift area.
