Alpin

The "Alpin" is a small luxury hotel, just 20 metres away from the pistes in the centre of Borovets, one of the most popular ski resorts in Bulgaria.

The hotel is quiet, cosy and peaceful, nevertheless nightlife is in full swing in the immediate vicinity. The resort's biggest entertainment facilities and bars are located within a diameter of 50 metres. After a day out on the slopes guests can relax in the steam room or in the jacuzzi, or indulge in a massage.

The hotel has its own ski rental facility, which offers, skis and snowboards, ski service, ski school, safekeeping of personal equipment.

Additionally, Hotel Alpin offers facilities for seminars - conference hall with 40 pax.

The hotel offers five rooms, one suite and two studios with terraces and superb panoramic view of the mountain, as well as holiday village with 8 one-storey or two-storey chalets.

The completely new chalets in holiday village are very cosy and pleasure. Guests can fully relax in fresh mountain air. One floor chalet has two separate rooms and four beds, two floors chalet has three rooms and five beds. This is ideal for family vacations. Every one has a telephone, TV, bathroom with WC. Some of them are equiped with sauna.

The restaurant operates on a la carte basis of the PUB type. Here you can sample tasty European and national cuisine specialities and have fun until midnight.

In summer you can spend many a pleasant hour of relaxing in our summer garden, cooled by the fresh air carried up from the waterfall and cascades. Don't miss the outdoor barbecue where our chef will prepare mouth-watering specialities, grilled on live coals, right in front of you.

Borovets is the oldest and the biggest mountain resort in Bulgaria. It is located at 1350 above the sea level on the northern slopes of Rila mountain among age-old pine woods, at the foot of peak Mousala (2925m) the highest one on the Balkan peninsula.

Borovets is a resort of Alpine type and provides excellent opportunities for a whole range of winter sports-Alpine sports, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon. The resorts has twice hosted World Cup Alpine skiing rounds. Its biathlon track is one of the best in Europe.

The slopes of Borovets have a permanent snow cover from December to April, more than 1.5m thick. The air in Borovets is crystal — clear and free of any pollutants. The average temperature during the coldest month January is -4.6 °C.

Borovets is easily accessible, being at a distance of 73 km from Sofia and 125 km from Plovdiv. The nearest town is Samokov, which is 10 km far from the resort.

The road Sofia-Borovets is semi-mountain with many windings. Road is completely repaired and comfortable. Average speed is 60-80 km/h.
