Run by a British family, the hotel is only a short walk from the state-of-the-art ski lift and the centre of the old town.

The Avalon has been fitted out to the highest standards using local materials, the furnishings have been hand made combining local craftsmanship with modern style. All rooms feature internet access.

There is a relaxing lobby bar and restaurant offering French and Italian food and a fine selection of local wines. An Indian buffet is offered on Thursdays.

Bansko is situated 170 km from the international airport of Bulgaria's capital city, Sofia. Transfer time is approximately 3 hours. Transfer from/to Sofia Airport can be organised on request. We can arrange transport to and from Bansko - with private cars and drivers or with minibuses for larger groups.
