The Eastern cantons: 40.000 ha of wood, 5.000 ha of nature reserve, 2.500 km of possible walks, all with sign-posts. Several walks start at the hotel. Guided walks are also possible.

Cycling:
Bikes can be rented less than 5 km from the hotel.
Longer tours (140 km) and short trips (11-24 km) are available in the neighbourhood, sign-posted for thematic or cultural trips.
Special attention has been given to the Pré-Ravel; a cycling path on an abandoned railway line: Waimes – St. Vith.
