Although the Gösser Bräu is situated in the centre of the town (just a few minutes to the exposition centre “Messe Wels”), the hotel features one of the biggest beer gardens in Austria. In summer, it is almost imperative to end the day in the shadow of the trees.

All rooms were individually furnished by the owners themselves. All double and single rooms are uniquely decorated and very comfortable. The landscape watercolours create a personal and cosy atmosphere.

Exquisite materials and carefully chosen decors make you feel good all over. Beautiful marble tiles in the spacious bathrooms turn ordinary wet rooms into places of pleasure.

Today’s "Gösserbräu" seats about 300 people in its cosy snuggeries and rooms inside the building, and more than 650 people outdoors in its great beer garden. During the renovation of the building, great importance was attached to maintaining style and tradition. As a result the "Gösser" is a prime example of modern gastronomical culture.

The outdoor restaurant, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Austria, is an important reason for its excellent reputation. The benches under the imposing chestnut trees are not only a popular meeting place, but seem to be almost a social obligation on warm summer evenings.

Anyone who has ever quenched one’s thirst with a professionally tapped beer (we have 6 different kinds of beer) will not want to do without it anymore.

The kitchen at the "Gösser" is another highlight. The menu offers high-quality dishes for every taste. For bigger groups a special, traditional dish, called "Bratl in der Rein", will be prepared.

Specially balanced and healthy nutrition is also served here. Organic food is part of the menu, as are vegetarian dishes. Besides, a special “Heuriger” buffet with warm and cold delicacies provides great variety.

Motorway exit Wels-West, continue in the direction "Zentrum/Messe", then "Kaiser-Josef-Platz West".

By plane:
Blue Danube Airport Linz, then on the motorway in the direction "Wels".

By train:
Wels Train Station (approx. 0,5 km from the hotel).
