Pension Baronesse

This centrally located 4-star guest house has been managed as a family business for decades.

All rooms, which are located between the ground floor and the third floor in an ancient Viennese apartment house (with historic elevator), include every expected comfort.

The majority of our rooms are furnished in traditional Viennese style, with chandeliers, carpet and partly with wooden floor. One floor was recently completely renovated - these non-smoking rooms facing the courtyard are equipped in modern style with wooden floor and flatscreen TV.

Not only the central location of our bed and breakfast is much appreciated by our guests, but also the personal atmosphere and the discreet service of our staff, which is always helpful in making reservations for concerts and sightseeing tours, and in providing touristic information about Vienna.

There is no restaurant or bar at the Baronesse in order to protect the privacy and relaxation of the guests.

Our rooms are situated between the first and the third floor of an residential house and can be accessed via the lift.

Breakfast is served in the breakfast room from 07:00 to 10:00.

The Bed & Breakfast is located in the smallest district of Vienna - Josefstadt. The district is famous for its large number of patrician houses, built before 1919, as well as baroque suburban residences. In addition, Josefstadt boasts with many historic palaces and churches.

From Meidling Train Station:
Take the U6 underground line in the direction of Floridsdorf and get off at Alser Straße. There change into tram line no. 43 in the direction of Schottentor and get off at Lange Gasse (third stop).

From Westbahnhof (Western Train Station):
Take tram no. 5 in the direction of Praterstern and get off at Lange Gasse.

From the airport:
Take the S7 train line to Praterstern-Wien Nord and continue on the no. 5 tram line in the direction of Westbahnhof. Get off at Lange Gasse.

You can also take an airport to one of the train stations and continue as above.

The whole city centre is a limited parking area, liable to charges. In the 8th district, where our house is located, you are only allowed to park the car for 2 hours. Limited parking is Monday till Friday, 09:00 to 22:00.

The hotel offers guests reduced parking tickets for the public garage Otto-Wagner-Platz (approximately 5 minutes walk from the Pension). You can enter the garage when you arrive and pull a parking ticket. At the reception you will receive a hotel parking card.

At your departure the fee of the pulled parking ticket will be charged on the hotel parking card and then you are able to leave the garage. If you should exceed the validity of the card, you have to pay the balance directly at the garage.
