Room information
The Hotel Schild has 28 spacious rooms and one apartment, some with adjoining terrace (on request). Hotel Schild is a completely non-smoking hotel.
In addition to the comfortable atmosphere, all rooms provide individually adjustable air condition, free Internet access, satellite TV with more than 50 national and international stations, and all common facilities.
All our rooms are equipped with a bathtub. Some of the rooms have an additional shower and a bidet.
Baby cots are available upon request (free of charge). Extra beds in each room type are available at an additional cost. Children up to 6 years stay free of charge when sharing the room and bed with 2 adults. The children's breakfast (up to 6 years) can be booked in the hotel (additional cost).
Children's meals are available in the bistro 24 hours, and your own children's food can be prepared in the bistro around the clock.

Area information
The hotel is surrounded by forests, but also located within the city. It has direct access to public transportation - the bus stop is situated just a few steps from the hotel, and the privately owned garage (surcharge) enables you to enjoy a car-free stay without missing any comfort.
The famous Vienna woods are reachable in a 10-minute walk, and many famous "Wiener Heurigen" (Viennese wine taverns) are located only a few steps away.

By car from the West-Side of Vienna:
- From A1 (Westautbahn) take exit 9 Wien-Auhof and continues straight ahead up to the first traffic light.
- Turn left into “Bergmillergasse”.
- Cross Wienfluss and Westbahn to Hüttelbergstraße and Höhenstraße.
- Follow the Höhenstraße up to exit Neustift am Walde.
By car from the South-Side of Vienna:
- From A2 (Südautbahn) direction Zentrum and exit at Altmannsdorf.
- Take Altmannsdorfer Straße and Grünbergstraße up to Wiental.
- Follow the Wiental to the West of Vienna (“Hadikgasse/Keißlergasse”) up to Bergmillerstraße.
- From here you take the Hüttelbergstraße and Höhenstraße.
- From Höhenstraße you follow until to the exit for Neustift am Walde.
By car from North or South:
Coming from A22:
- Exit at Floridsdorf, (Exit 7) and then follow signs for Nordbrücke, Nussdorfer Lände and Gürte to the crossing Nussdorfer Straße.
- Take Billrothstraße than turn left into Krottenbachstraße and continues straight ahead up to Neustift am Walde.
- From A1 (Westautbahn) take exit 9 Wien-Auhof and continues straight ahead up to the first traffic light.
