Hotel Royal har varit familjedrivet sedan 1931. Det ligger i ett tyst område i hjärtat av Wien. Hotellet ligger precis vid Stephansdom och shoppinggatorna Graben, Kärntnerstraße och Kohlmarkt.

Restaurang Firenze Enoteca:
Restaurangens arkitektur påminner om ett medeltida italienskt palats. Traditionella toskanska rätter serveras med ett stort urval av hemgjord pasta. Servicen är utmärkt och "padrone" och han team tar emot dig med stor gästfrihet. Standardmenyn inkluderar säsongsspecialiteter som tryffel från Alba. Wiens största kollektion av "Chianti Classico" och sällsynta viner (en del från 1950-talet) kommer att göra ditt besök i en av de äldsta italienska specialiserade restauranger i Österrike till en unik upplevelse.

Njut av din måltid på denna vackra terrass med utsikt över Wiens hustak. Panoramautsikten på "Sjunde Himlen" visar dig Stefansdomen, slottet Belvedere, kejsarpalatset Hofburg, stadshuset och Wiens skogar. Restaurangen serverar sofistikerad italiensk mat med tonvikt på fisk- och skaldjur.

Vinbar Settimo Cielo:
Denna fantastiska och nydesignade bar med panoramautsikt som ligger på tionde våningen är en idealisk plats för en aperitif eller en digestif. Det finns också ett stort urval av viner (på glas) från Italien och från hela världen. Det finns snacks, kaffe och hemlagade konditorivaror (på eftermiddagarna). Ingången är genom lobbyn på Hotel Royal.

Det finns många turistattraktioner i närheten som till exempel Hofburg och Schönbrunn (med världens äldsta zoo Tiergarten Schönbrunn) och det stora pariserhjulet på nöjesfältet Prater. Andra kulturella höjdpunkter är Burgtheater, Staatsoper, lippizanerhästarna på Spanska ridskolan, och Wiens gosskör samt utflykter till Wiens heurigen-områden (vinserveringar)

Det finns också ett antal gallerier i Wien som till exempel Albertina, Belvedere, Museumsquartier, KunstHausWien och BA-CA Kunstforum. Populära museer är till exempel museet på Hofburg, Konsthistoriska museet, Naturhistoriska museet och Tekniska museet som alla har fler än 250 000 besökare per år.

Även platser som förknippas med de många kompositörerna som har bott i Wien är populära turistmål, till exempel Beethovens olika hem och kyrkogården St. Marx där Mozart är begravd.

Wiens många kyrkor lockar också stora mängder besökare. De mest kända kyrkorna är Stephansdom, Deutschordenskirche, Jesuitenkirche, Karlskirche, Peterskirche, Maria am Gestade, Minoritenkirche, Ruprechtskirche, Schottenkirche och Votivkirche.

Ett par moderna attraktioner som är väl värda att nämna är till exempel Hundertwasserhaus, FN:s högkvarter och utsikten från Donauturm.

Coming from the (A1) Westautobahn by car,
* take the exit „Zentrum“ (city center). Drive straight ahead, along the „Wien-river” at the
„Hietzinger Kai“ from where you will get to the „Schönbrunnerstraße“.
* From there you drive on straight ahead and always follow the signs reading „Zentrum“. At the
end of the „Schönbrunnerstraße“ turn left and directly after this turn right and drive along the
„Naschmarkt“ (a famous market of Vienna) which is situated along the „Rechte Wienzeile“ until
you get to the „Karlsplatz“.
* To your left you will see a dice-shaped building („Österreichisches Verkehrsbüro“) and you stay
left but do not yet turn left. Now cross the “Schwarzenbergplatz”, turn left and directly after this
turn right again into the “Lothringerstrasse”.
* When you pass the traffic light, stay on the left lane and turn left into the “Johannesgasse”
right after the “Hotel Intercontinental”. After you crossed the “Ringstraße”
(a large street with 3 lanes),
* stay on the right lane and turn into the second street, the “Schellinggasse”
(which meets the “Coburgbastei”). Drive straight ahead and then turn left into the
“Liebenberggasse” which meets the “Singerstraße”. The Hotel Royal is situated at the end of the
“Singerstraße”.

Coming from the (A2) Südautobahn by car,
* take the “Süd-Osttangente” (A23) direction “Zentrum” (city center). Follow the A23 until you see the
junction with the sign reading “Zentrum”. Follow this sign and drive along the “Schüttelstraße” (B227).
* This street meets the „Untere Donaustraße“ which you have to follow to the direction „Zentrum“.
At the sign „Prater – rechts abbiegen“ turn LEFT across the bridge.
* If you follow this street straight ahead, you will get to the „Ring“. Follow the „Ring“ until you see the
“Liebenberggasse” to your right. There you have to turn right. The “Liebenberggasse” meets the
“Singerstraße”. The Hotel Royal is situated at the end of the “Singerstraße”.

Coming from the (A4) Ostautobahn by car (Airport),
* Leave the junction „Knoten Prater“ and turn into the „Schüttelstraße“ (B227). This street meets the
„Untere Donaustraße“ which you have to follow to the direction „Zentrum“. At the sign „Prater –
rechts abbiegen“ turn LEFT across the bridge.
* If you follow this street straight ahead you will get to the „Ring“. Follow the „Ring“ until you see
the “Liebenberggasse” to your right. There you have to turn right. The “Liebenberggasse” meets
the “Singerstraße”. The Hotel Royal is situated at the end of the “Singerstraße”.

Coming from the Airport (by public transport),
* Either take the the CAT-train or train No. S7 until the stop „Landstrasse/Wien Mitte/City Air Terminal“.
From there take the underground „U3“ direction „Ottakring“, get off at the stop „Stephansplatz“.
* Or take the airport-bus to “Schwedenplatz” from there take the underground “U1” direction
“Reumannplatz” get off at the stop “Stephansplatz”
* Use the exit “Stephansplatz” and turn into the “Singerstrasse”, on the left hand side you already
see the Hotel Royal.

Coming from the Westbahnhof (West Central Train Station) by public transport,
take the Subway “U3” direction “Simmering” and leave at the station “Stephansplatz”.
Take the exit “Stephansplatz” and turn into the “Singerstrasse”, on the left hand side
you already see the Hotel Royal.

Coming from the Südbahnhof (South CentralTrain Station) by public transport,
take the tram line “D” direction “Nussdorf” and leave at the station "Volkstheater". Take the Subway
”U3” direction “Simmering” and leave at the station “Stephansplatz”. Take the exit “Stephansplatz”
and turn into the “Singerstrasse”, on the left hand side you already see the Hotel Royal.
