The Sporthotel Berger is located at Velden’s lakeshore promenade, close to the marina and the Velden Castle.

Sit on our sun terrace and enjoy the fantastic view over the Bay of Velden. We feature our own lido with deck chairs, sunshades and hotel service (drinks, food), as well as our own car park. Activities available in the surrounding area include swimming, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, Nordic walking, sailing, surfing, motorboating, golf, tennis, beach volleyball, horseback riding, diving, water skiing and rafting.

You will receive a free Wörthersee Kärnten Card when staying with us. Many excursion destinations, boat rides on Lake Wörth, entrance fees, reductions for public transport and much more is included in this card.

A café and restaurant with a lakeside terrace seating about 200 people. It offers fish specialities from rivers, lakes and seas, a breakfast buffet, an evening menu with a choice of dishes, and pastry specialities from our in-house pastry chef.

Area information

Lake Wörth is an Alpine lake with drinking water quality, a water temperature of up to 28°C and a beautiful and safe environment. Thanks to the Mediterranean influence on its climate and weather, it is justifiably called the “Austrian Riviera”.

Velden is an international beach resort with a varied entertainment programme, casual beach cafés, discos, nightclubs and the Velden Casino.

Cancellation policy:   Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 60 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
