Sporthotel Arlberg

The family-run Sporthotel Arlberg is located in the small village of Stuben am Arlberg, right next to the ski lifts. It offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking.

The Sporthotel features a 100 m² spa area with a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam bath and an infrared sauna, as well as an outdoor hot tub with mountain views. All spa facilities can be used free of charge.

The lounge has an open fireplace and a tiled stove. Sporthotel Arlberg also offers a sun terrace and a small library.

All rooms offer views of the surrounding mountains, and most feature balconies with deck chairs. Facilities include flat-screen TVs with free pay TV (in German) and headphones. Laptops are provided free of charge.

The à la carte restaurant serves an extensive breakfast buffet. Half-board includes an afternoon buffet (in winter) and a 4-course dinner.

In summer, the Active Inclusive Card is included in the price for stays of more than 2 nights. It includes a wide range of free activities, benefits and reductions throughout the Arlberg region.

The hotel features a 100 m² wellness oasis for 30 guests with Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath and infrared sauna, as well as an outdoor Jacuzzi with mountain view. There is ramp for wheelchairs and a toilet for disabled guests. The hotel also offers a small library.

All rooms have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and most feature balconies with lawn chairs.

In addition to the listed facilities, the rooms offer:

The à la carte restaurant serves warm dishes all day. During October it is open from 08:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Thursday (last warm meal served at 20:30) and from 08:00 to 23:00 from Friday to Sunday (last warm meal served at 21:00).

During November the restaurant is closed, but you can book a room with a breakfast.

Every day, you can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet with various fresh egg dishes, coffee from the Espresso machine, organic meals and freshly squeezed fruit juices while enjoying a wonderful view of the Arlberg.

Relax on the sun terrace in the afternoon and enjoy the traditional winter afternoon buffet which is included in the half-board price.

The lovingly created 4-course evening menu and the à la carte dishes provide a balanced diet by combining well-chosen and prepared meat and fish with fresh, seasonal salads and vitamin-rich fruits and vegetables.

Of course there is a special children's menu for younger guests.

Stuben am Arlberg is the smallest and cosiest of the 5 Arlberg villages. For about 400 years, it has huddled in the shadow of the Flexen and Arlberg Passes. With barely 30 houses, Stuben has maintained its original atmosphere until today.

Winter:
Because of the direct ski connection with the entire Arlberg Ski Arena, our guests have a huge choice out of more than 85 cable cars and ski lifts, 276 kilometres of groomed slopes and more then 180 kilometres of natural powder snow and corn snow slopes between 1,400 and 2,800 metres above sea level.

The Albona, our north-facing local mountain, is snow-reliable until early spring. Because of its powdery slopes it is an insiders’ tip for many free riders - this year until April 27!

Summer:
When the snow has melted, the Arlberg shows its second face and turns the region into a first-class summer destination. Within 22 to 122 kilometres, there are 14 golf courses (with 18 holes).

You can enjoy cycling, Nordic walking, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, golf, tennis, shooting, archery, swimming, fly-fishing, paragliding, canoeing, model airplane flying, inline skating, and much more.

Please note that the road between Warth and Lech is closed in winter. It is not possible to reach Stuben directly from the Bregenz Forest.

The nearest train station is located in Langen am Arlberg, 3 km from Stuben. There you can either take a public bus or a taxi. A transfer service to the hotel is available on request.
