酒店的历史：
这座16世纪初的建筑是迄今最古老的建筑山墙的一部分部分。此房子是最初的记录是1694年是一的一个客栈根据他客栈，由Johann Altwirth掌管。彼得大帝一世曾与1697年在前往欧洲的旅途中这里住过。在他前往维也纳会途中，他遇见了Lamberg公爵的妹妹并爱上了她。 他因此来到斯太尔学习锻造艺术并制造的三个金玫瑰代表他的爱情，并希望在Lamberg城堡与她相见。 但是，当他听说她刚刚在几天之前与另外一个男人结婚了，就将此玫瑰送给了客栈老板。这就是该客栈名字的起源。

1936年，Schweinschwaller家族购买这座建筑物，管理者酒店并度过了艰难的时期。 1965年，Mader家族开始了为期30年的 "Gasthaus zu den 3 Rosen"扩展行动，通过购买隔壁的房屋并组建了Mader酒店。

小马德尔家族自1998年以来一直在经营着这家酒店。

Arrival from Salzburg on the A1 motorway:
- Take the exit for Sattlett and follow the federal road 122 towards Kremsmünster – Bad Hall to Steyr.
- In Steyr follow the green signs for Zentrum.
- Turn to the right after the second trafic lights, go through the tunnel and turn to the left just before the big Enns bridge.
- You will find yourself in the town square, where our hotel is situated on the left-hand side.

Arrival from Vienna on the A1 motorway:
- Take the exit for Haag and follow the federal road 122 to Steyr.
- In Steyr follow the green signs for Zentrum.
- Turn to the left at the first trafic lights. At the roundabout go towards the BAUHAUS shopping centre.
- At the next trafic lights turn to the left. At the train station turn to the right. - Go across the big Enns bridge.
- Just after the bridge turn right into the town square. Our hotel is on the left-hand side.
