The Seefeld Olympic Region is one the few destinations that can offer 2 balanced seasons. Seefeld, at the heart of the region, presents itself both as a traditional village with idyllic, Tyrolean attractions and as forward thinking and modern. So there are numerous attractive events in summer as well, such as the colourful Seefeld flower parade, the traditional handicrafts festival or the dancing world championships that draw visitors to this village with the flair of a fashionable tourist metropolis.

Both amateurs and professionals love the prize-winning cross-country ski runs in the region. At events like the Nordic Combined World Cup there is a real racing atmosphere to be enjoyed - and maybe you can watch one of the cross-country skiing stars while training on the runs of Seefeld. Seefeld has a lot of experience in both Nordic and Alpine skiing. Skiers and snowboarders have access to fantastically well-prepared slopes in 2 well-developed ski areas, with 23 lifts in Seefeld and 30 in the region.

By car:
Seefeld lies on a direct route between Munich and Innsbruck and is only a few minutes' drive from the German border at Mittenwald. Italy is less than an hour's drive away, and Switzerland and the eastern part of Austria are easily reachable via the Inn valley.

By train:
Seefeld train station has frequent trains from Munich and Innsbruck, with connections at those stations from all over Europe. The train station is within an easy walking distance of 10 minutes from the Hotel Lärchenhof. We will be happy to pick you up with our hotel bus.

By plane:
Innsbruck Airport is less than 30 minutes from Seefeld - transfers from the airport can be made by taxi or by train. If you would like to be picked up from the airport, please ask us for a quote for a minibus or taxi transfer and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
