Schloss Rosenau ist located west of the historic town Zwettl in the Waldviertel region, amidst a 18th century estate and is home to Austrias one and only museum for freemasons.

The scenic hilly landscape is great for hiking and cross country skiing.

Travel information

The castle of Rosenau is reachable via Vienna-Krems-Zwettl from the east or from the west via Linz-Freistadt-Karlstift-Groß Gerungs.
