Our hotel, which maintains all the charm of a typical Salzburg-style house, has recently been completely renovated and equipped with all the modern conveniences.
We invite stressed business people to relax in our sauna. To those of you interested in cultural sights but who would also like to return home with a suntan without spending hours in the sun, Hotel Zur Post offers the possibility of solarium sessions.

The hotel consists of the main house ("Zur Post") and two adjoining houses (Haus Renate, across the central garden and Haus Georg). In our rooms you will find furniture made from locally-grown wood, Italian style furniture as well as precious heirlooms from bygone times. All the rooms are furnished with an eye for detail and offer every comfort one could wish for. Take the opportunity to reserve a non-smoking room. Our older guests really appreciate our wheelchair-accessible room on the first floor of the hotel. If you are looking for accommodation for three persons, you can choose between our three-bedded room in the main house and an apartment in the guesthouse Renate, consisting of 2 rooms with a connecting door and a bathroom.
Our well known family-style hospitality remains unchanged, but you will discover an innovative interior design that meets all your expectations. For example, you won't need a key anymore, a key card will open the doors for you at a touch. For the highest level of comfort and convenience - just like "Open Sesame"- use the Swatch Access watch, also available at the hotel.

Take the opportunity to reserve a non-smoking room, if you wish. A wheelchair accessible room is available.

Hotel zur Post offers a rich breakfast buffet in the newly renovated breakfast room.

This family-run hotel is only a few minutes away from the centre of Salzburg, making it an ideal starting point to discover the many sights of Mozart's city. Salzburg Airport, the Exhibition Centre and the main train station can be reached quickly and easily by public transport.

Park your car free of charge in our parking lot and enjoy the relaxing and convenient bus ride (bus number one) into the centre of the city, which is less than five minutes away (bus-stop 'Eichetstrasse' in front of the house). If you would like to get some exercise and explore the city on your own, rent a bike in our hotel. If you bring your own bicycle or come by motorbike, we will provide you with a garage space at no additional cost.

By car:
- At the first roundabout, drive straight on, passing beneath the underpass.
- At the second roundabout, turn left, towards Salzburg.
- Go straight on until you reach the T-crossing (at the fourth traffic light).
- Turn right towards the city centre 'Zentrum', into the Maxglaner Hauptstraße. The Hotel Zur Post is on the left hand side.

By train:
At the main train station Salzburg, take bus number one (to Europark) and get off at bus station 'Eichetstrasse' after 20 minutes driving.

By plane:
Salzburg Airport 'Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart', 5 minutes by taxi.
