The Hotel Sacher Salzburg, opened in 1866, is a grand, historic hotel situated in the city centre on the banks of the Salzach river, with magnificent views of the old town of Salzburg. The privately owned deluxe hotel combines elegant luxury and tradition with the highest standard of service. After a major refurbishment the entire hotel was upgraded to the most up-to-date technological standards.

All 112 rooms and suites, some of which have recently been renovated, are furnished in a highly individual fashion. State-of-the-art equipment is a standard feature. Each room and suite has been decorated personally by Mrs. Elisabeth Guertler, the hotel's owner, with a great love of details.
